Win up to £1000 with Charity Wedding Favours

Win more than just your dream man on your wedding day

Weddings favours are a tricky subject. Many people hate the idea of giving wedding favours that comprise of nothing more than a flimsy cardboard box with sugared almonds or mini chocolates that guests will eat and discard. Other keepsake wedding favours such as trinkets are expensive and often regarded as cheesy or irrelevant.

The Keech Hospice Care lottery team will be exhibiting their wedding favours at Herts Wedding Fair on Sunday 20th May at the Holiday Inn in Luton, which has nominated Keech Hospice Care as its charity of the year.

Keech Hospice Care offers wedding favours as a gift twice over - once to your guests and again to the local Hospice. You are able to enjoy your big day in the knowledge that this gift will make a real difference to patients and their families at the Hospice.

Keech Hospice Care offers support to children with life-limiting conditions across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes, and adults from Luton and South Beds. Care focuses on helping children enjoy the highest quality of life - controlling their pain and other distressing symptoms, offering practical and emotional support, and providing a range of treatments and therapies.

Playing our lottery couldn't be simpler. Players are allocated a unique six-digit number and the lucky winning numbers are selected at random every Friday by the lottery computer. Players have the opportunity to win weekly prizes of £1000, £250, £50, £25, £10 and all profits from Keech Hospice Care’s lottery go towards helping Keech Hospice Care run its adult and children’s hospices.

Your Wedding Day is an exciting event for you, your family and friends. After they’ve eaten at the wedding breakfast, indulged in wedding cake, partied at the disco, taken pictures in the gorgeous venue, add to your guests' excitement by giving them the chance of winning up to £1000.

wedding favours for keech hospiceHealth Care Assistant Sarah Brown, from Luton, is just one of many who decided to have charity wedding favours at her own wedding.

Sarah met her husband James 14 years ago at a casino work night out and married in an intimate wedding in Vegas in April this year. After returning to the UK they then had a small celebration of 35 close friends and family.

Sarah said: “I’ve always been a strong charity supporter and when it came to my wedding it just felt like the right thing to do. All of the patients as well as the staff are amazing and I wanted to make my contribution.”

Sarah was pleased with how the wedding favours looked on the day and said that it was made even more special when her sister, who was hospitalised the day before the wedding due to her MS, won with her wedding favour.

Sarah added: “It was great that she was still able to feel part of the day with her win.

“I would definitely recommend anyone to use Keech Hospice Care wedding favours. I was really impressed with how great they looked and seeing how much the money really impacts the hospice, made it that extra special.”

How the Wedding favours help:

-          Only 13 favours bought could help a patient to enjoy a fun or soothing activity - story time, messy play, arts and crafts and more.

-          26 favours bought could pay for more than an hour of 1-1 nursing support for a patient.

-          52 favours bought could help provide bereavement counselling for a family member.
