Wedding Plans
From the very first moment you settle down with a notebook in front of you and put pen to paper – from making a list of reasons to get married to filling in place names for the wedding breakfast table – you are in wedding planner territory.
Your evenings will be filled with the sound of scribbling and laptop tippety-tapping as you work out numbers for the caterers and songs for the wedding reception playlist. Your phone will be red-hot as you spend your weekends ringing round wedding venues and checking out photographers.
Think of it like this: by the time that the big day arrives you’ll have made more lists and know more about flowers, wedding favours and frocks than you ever dreamed possible.
The only thing that you really need to worry about - because let’s face it, this is all part of the fun - is that you don’t fall out with the most important person involved: your fiancé. Beware of danger zones such as who’s going to be invited to the wedding (that one is always going to be a tricky area to circumnavigate) and remember what all the time spent planning is in aid of: the most special day of your lives so far.
