The Groom
If at times it seems as though this is a one-man - or rather, one-woman – show, think again. You might not have too much to say on the subject of bows tied to the back of the chairs at the reception or the colour of the bridesmaids’ shoes but there’s no reason why many of the arrangements for the wedding shouldn’t be a joint responsibility. Marriage is a partnership after all – and it starts here and now!
Once upon a time it was the bride’s father who stumped up the wherewithal for the wedding. As more and more people get married later in life it’s much more common for couples to pay for their own celebration – often with some help from their families. That way they feel comfortable doing it just the way they want.
In this section we give advice to the groom to ensure your wedding day runs smoothly. For more tips about how to make your bride happy visit the “Advice for the Groom" link.
