Levitt bags Ath's 9,000th point in win over Loughborough

Bedford ended their three-game losing streak with a well earned victory that saw James Mortimer continue his impressive, scoring tally with one penalty and four conversions.

The hosts were awarded a penalty try and also added four scores to their tally, including one from Luke Levitt, which was their 9,000th point in 25 years of league rugby.

Simon Lincoln sliced through the defence shortly after the restart before Billy Mills and Ben Johnson went over. Loughborough scored three penalties and a try in return.

Elsewhere, in Senior Vase second round action beat Bedford Swifts beat Pinley 27-17, while in the Intermediate Cup round two, Queens lost 22-7 to Old Leamingtonians
