Defensive errors cost Bedford Athletic yesterday, as they were very good in possession but missed tackles which gave Paviors the victory.

Bedford managed five tries to Paviors’ seven, with Tom Orton (2), James Ross, Alex Miller and Ben Beagent scoring.

James Mortimer kicked a penalty and two conversions.

The five tries gave Bedford a losing bonus point, which means they didn’t leave the game empty handed.

Though they were playing one of the top teams in the division, the number of defensive errors need to be worked on.
