We need to get back on track says Money

Luton Town will play host to Cambridge United tomorrow at Kenilworth Road in a game manager Richard Money has said they must win to stop them falling behind the leading pack.

After a good start to the season, with three wins and two draws from their first five games, defeats in their two of their last two fixtures sees the Hatters sitting in sixth, six points behind leaders AFC Wimbledon.

Money said: "The players realise we've had a bad week of results, that's what happens in football and we have to respond. How we respond tomorrow is absolutely crucial.

"I just said to them this morning, apart from 20 minutes at Tamworth and 20 minutes at Grimsby I think the performances have varied from good, to very good, to excellent. We  just need to get back on track with a result tomorrow.

"We don't want to slip adrift, we're up there and I genuinely think we should have more points than we do. We certainly don't want to be playing catch up as we know how difficult that was last year."

Luton are also near a clean bill of health, with everyone bar Keith Keane available, who's fitness for tomorrow's game hangs in the balance.

Money said "He's [Keane] done a bit today and obviously we're hopeful he'll be okay for tomorrow and we'll give him every chance, apart from that everybody's available."

New striker Taiwo Atieno could also feature, after scoring a goal midweek for the reserves.
