The announcement comes a week and a half after the attacker turned out as a trialist for former club Bedford Town in the Hatters’ 1-0 win over the Eagles, catching the manager's eye.
Walker, who has since played in Luton's pre-season wins against Marlow and Liverpool, will be taken on by the Blue Square Bet Premier outfit, and the deal could open up relationship which sees some of Luton’s young guns sent on loan to Bedford Town to gain experience.
Money said: “We are going to take Dan Walker from Bedford. He’s raw but he has great size, great strength and pace and he’s going to be interesting.
“We are going to give him a 12-month contract. We’ve developed a good relationship with Bedford, we went there for a pre-season game and we want to keep that relationship going.
”Maybe there will be the opportunity for one or two of our players to go over there on loan.
“I know [Eagles manager] Ady Williams very well and I tried to sign him when I was manager of Walsall. I like him a lot and was very impressed with the way they played when we went there.
“It’s a good set-up and exactly the right kind of environment for our young players to get experience, so I think the relationship should develop well.”
