Taiwo Atieno has re-signed for Luton Town on a year long deal.
The Kenyan international striker signed on loan for the Hatters at the tail end of last season but failed to make an appearance before injuring his achilles.
He trained with South African Premier League champions Supersport United in the summer, but a move to secure a deal there fell through.
The 25-year-old comes to Town two days after top goalscorer from last season Tom Craddock left Kenilworth Road for an undisclosed fee on transfer deadline day in a late swoop from League Two side Oxford United.
Hatters boss Richard Money, said: Money said: "Tai came to us at the end of last season and impressed us a lot in training and for the reserves.
"It was unfortunate he picked-up an injury in the reserve game at Ipswich which meant he was unable to continue his promising progress with us.
"The opportunity has arisen for us to re-sign him and we're delighted that we're able to do so.
"He has a lot to offer and we're looking forward to working with him once again.
"He is a tall, more aggressive type of centre forward and one which we feel will compliment the strikers we have at the club very well."
