Luton fell to their eighth defeat of the season in this 33-18 Bedfordshire derby day defeat to Ampthill.

Aidan Kenny, Jake Hobbs and Coddie Medway scored for the home side.

The former kicked for an early lead but Ampthill replied with a penalty and a try before half-time to take the lead.

Hobbs and Kenny then scored either side of an Ampthill try as Luton tried to muster a comeback.

But the A’s killed the game with four successive tries, though Medway touched down for a consolation try, converted by Kenny.
