Bedfordshire Cricket Board plans to use the world beating England Ladies team as inspiration to forming a county team.

The female national side have enjoyed terrific success in the past two years winning the Ashes, the World Cup and the World Twenty20.
Steve Feazey of the county cricket board has his sights set on a team able to compete in the women's county championship by 2013.
He said: "Bedfordshire is one of the few counties without a side and there is a big push to get one started.
"The intention is to start at the top and show people where they can get to.
"Hopefully it would have a knock-on effect and get more people involved in both coaching and playing.
"We want to start with a few friendlies in the summer and take things from there."
■ Trials will be held at Bedford College on Friday February 26 from 6pm to 7.30pm.
