Putnoe Library is preparing an out of this world adventure for children.
On Wednesday, August 4 ‘The Comics Space Odyssey’ - a fun session aimed at eight to twelve year olds from 11am until 12noon - is taking place.
During the session, children will join comics creator and picture book illustrator Sarah McIntyre, designing their own space creature and sending them on a journey into the cosmos.
Budding young artists will also be given free advice and tips on how to make their own comics.
Head of Bedfordshire libraries Jenny Poad said: "There are many events taking place across all the borough libraries this summer and this event will certainly prove a delight for children with a particular interest in comics, graphic novels or indeed anyone who likes using their imagination."
