The runners and riders for June 4 Central Bedfordshire Council elections have been announced and all potential councillors are being offered the opportunity to sell themsleves to voters on the internet.

There are a total of 66 available seats in the Central Bedfordshire elections with 34 of them being in the former Mid Beds area.
When the nomination deadline passed last week 115 people had put themselves forward for election.
Forty two of them are current councillors so there will certainly be some disappointment when the ballots are counted.
The two toughest wards appear to be Biggleswade and Stotfold and Arlesey which both have 13 candidates, including five current councillors in each, vying for four available seats.
The Biggleswade Advertiser/Bedfordshire on Sunday is inviting all nominees for the elections to visit our office in Bedford and have a one minute video made which will then be loaded for viewing
HERE.
Nominees can tell voters all about themselves and what they stand for, but they only have 60 seconds to do so.
If you would like to take advantage of this offer then call the newsdesk on 01234 300888 to arrange an appointment.
