Easyjet to fly to new destinations

easyJetEasyjet has announced expansion plans which will see the airline begin flying to the Greek resort of Mykonos and the Sardinian resort of Olbia.

Starting next summer, the operator will fly to the new destinations twice a week.

Hugh Aitken, easyJet’s UK Commercial Manager, said: “easyJet is committed to making travel easy and affordable for all and we fly to the destinations our customers tell us they most want to visit.

"I’m sure that these two new summer sun destinations of Olbia and Mykonos from London Luton Airport, are going to be a huge hit with holidaymakers.

“Today’s announcement reinforces easyJet’s commitment to offering more varied destinations, at the best value and best availability for our passengers.”

Glyn Jones, Managing Director for Luton Airport, added:   “We are delighted that easyJet continues to develop its route network here at London Luton.

"Such additions are great news for passengers providing yet more choice and is testament to the Airport’s convenient location and commitment to providing great customer service.

"In addition, easyJet developing its route network here at its spiritual home reinforces the important role the Airport plays as a key economic driver for the local and regional economy.”
