Nazi case - jury fail to reach decision

A jury has failed to agree in the case of a right wing extremist accused of religiously aggravated harassment.

Kevin Quinn, 43, of Ouseland Road, Queens Park, Bedford, is alleged to have used a megaphone to launch an attack on Muslims during a demonstration at South Oxhey in Hertfordshire.

On Tuesday a jury at St Albans crown court failed to agree on a verdict.

Mr Quinn, the leader of the British First Party, had set up a stall with fellow supporters in the Parade shopping precinct when he used the megaphone.

A decision will have to be made on a retrial.
