Man in hospital following traffic collision

A man has been taken to hospital following an early morning road traffic collision today (Friday) between a van and a motorbike in Clifton.

The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) were alerted to the New Road at 7.59am. Ambulance crews from Biggleswade and Shefford attended the scene.

Ambulance spokesman Gary Sanderson said: "A man who we believe to be in his 30s received slight injuries and following treatment at the roadside, he was taken to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage for further care."
