A 14-year-old girl was walking through a park with her friend when they were exposed at by a man hiding in a bush.
Detectives are keen to speak to people who saw anything suspicious in Bedford Park on Saturday afternoon.
At around 3pm the girls were walking along the footpath leading to the bandstand and tennis courts when the man approached them and dropped his trousers.
He’s described as having a tanned appearance, about 5ft 8ins tall, medium built, wearing a black beanie hat, black waist length Puffa-style jacket, blue jeans and black trainers.
PC Jon Woodruff is investigating this case and wants to hear from anyone who saw this particular offence, or perhaps has been subject to a similar offence in the last few days at the park and has not yet reported it.
He can be contacted via the non-emergency number on 101, or text police on 07786 200011, or call independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. You do not have to give your name but you could still receive a cash reward.
