Child in hospital following collision

AmbulanceA young girl was taken to hospital after the pushbike she was riding was in collision with a car.
 
The East of England Ambulance Service was called to the junction of Albany Road and Castle Road in Bedford at 8.38am this morning following reports of a bike in collision with a car.
 

Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: "We believe the girl is six-years-old and she received slight injuries. She was conveyed to Bedford Southwing Hospital."
