This is part of  South Essex Partnership University Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust's (SEPT) ongoing operation to improve inpatient settings and will also provide a Trust-wide range of activities to improve the health and wellbeing of patients.

SEPT Chief Executive Dr Patrick Geoghegan OBE, said “The great thing about these resources are that over time they provide a visual record of a patients physical health.

"Visual cues with action points have been incorporated so if a patient’s health begins to deteriorate, clinical staff can literally see the signs and take immediate action."

The opening was attended by H M Lord Lieutenant of Bedford Helen Nellis, MP for Bedford and Kempston Richard Fuller.

The three weeks I was held "prisoner" in that disgusting "sh**" hole" Weller Wing, will stay with me for the rest of my life, as the worst thing that has ever happened to me. Most of the male staff are no more than "thugs", and the rest of the staff work in a disgracefull inviroment, which is as unsafe for them, as it is for the patients. the pyschiatrists who work,(shirk) there, are over payed, and rairly seen, in my oppinion, all they do is cram loads of drugs into people, to keep them doscile, and submissive, which gives them an easy life. The mental health service is a "septic boil" which has attached its self to the NHS, poisoning, an otherwise, World wide, respected institution, and it needs "lancing".
