Unforgettable night of blues

Blue Roots Revue

Bedford Corn Exchange

Saturday, February 18 at 8pm

The Blues Roots Revue is a collaboration between three of Britain’s best live acts in the blues tradition; Spikedrivers, Fran & Mike McGillivray and Sam Hare.

Each has their own distinctive style both in performance and song writing and together they promise an unforgettable musical evening.

These are not three separate acts with a bit of a jam at the end, but two stunning bass players, an impeccable drummer/percussionist and six glorious voices coming together in different combinations to create an unique and unmissable performance.

Singer/songwriter Ben Gyzack believes each person brings something unique to the group.

He said: “It has just been magic doing the rehearsals, the combination of musicians works really well because we have six people singing in a harmony which is quite rare in Blues it is more normally found in Gospel music.” Tickets are £14 from the box office on 01234 269519.
