Breakfast Club - with Heart FM's Stuart and Natalie

The line-up of judges has been announced for the new series of Britain’s Got Talent on ITV.

Joining Simon Cowell will be David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon who joins from Strictly Come Dancing.

Once again Simon revealed that he is looking for another fantastic dog act.

He told us: “I want to find a dog that does magic tricks and who can travel into space.

“Everyone used to laugh at me when I said the next big star is going to be a dog and along came Uggie, but he’s 12, which in human years is nearly 80, so I need to find a replacement.” So if you have a talented pooch you need to enter.

So Alesha was the surprise announcement having left the BBC and Strictly for the new show and told us: “I’m gonna be me, I can’t put on an act, I can’t pretend to be something I’m not.” Watch this space.

And hot on the heels of Michael McIntyre, Walliams brings the comedic element to the panel.

He said: “I’m really excited and looking forward to all the nutty acts, the ones that defy a genre or description, I just hope I don’t end up speechless.” We think he’ll definitely pick up some ideas for his next comedy show with Matt Lucas . . .

Finally, it looks like Gary Barlow will be too busy to re-join the X Factor panel later in the year, as it’s rumoured he will be busy promoting a new Take That album and fingers crossed we get another chance to see the boys live.

What we are sure about, is that the band will be back to a foursome, with Robbie due to release a new solo album at some stage this year.
