Staff at Luton Specsavers branch
An opticians in Luton is hosting a range of fun activities during a fundraising day in aid of Guide Dogs.
Staff members at Specsavers will ditch their uniforms and don fancy dress for the day.
The fun day will include a tombola and there will also be a cute guide dog puppy in store which is sure to cause a spectacle and attract passers-by.
The store will also offer a free repair service on all frames to new and existing customers, in return for a small donation towards the charity fund.
£1 from every sight test on this day will be donated to Guide Dogs.
It is part of a national pledge to raise £250,000 to fund and train 25 new guide dog puppies – one for every year that the company has been in business.
Store director David Brett-Williams said: "We are delighted to be involved in a fundraising mission that will truly benefit someone in our local community and thank our customers for their continued support. Helping visually impaired residents is something very close to our hearts and we look forward to the beneficial outcome of our efforts."
