Fix these potholes

Sir - Being a lifelong Pink Floyd fan who was disgusted with the tribute to them the council erected in Silver Street, “the lights should be pink, not blue !” They now appear to have capped it all off with “The car park fiasco”.

Have these people got any conscience at all? Have they not travelled along the Embankment for instance and seen the state of the roads in and around Bedford? But they can fix their own car park.

I hope they realise there is an election sooner or later, and they should try riding a motor scooter, as I do, along these roads to see the state of the highways. They don’t seem worried about us only themselves.
