Looking for a way to kickstart 2013? X Factor Live tickets could be just what you’re after – or if you still hark back to the days when Simon Cowell was a judge you might be more interested in getting out and seeing One Direction.
One Direction, 10 Destinations
This February One Direction resumes their UK tour taking in 10 UK cities including London, Manchester, Glasgow, and Cardiff (they’ll also be nipping over to Dublin for four nights). Since placing third in the seventh series of X-Factor, the five-piece boyband have accepted nothing less than the top spot, scoring number one albums on both sides of the Atlantic and playing to sold out crowds everywhere they go.
Despite the sell-outs, many One Direction 2013 tickets are still available through resellers allowing you to hear the boys perform songs from their two albums ‘Up All Night’ and ‘Take Me Home’, not to mention a few of their most popular covers from their time on Britain’s best-loved talent show.
Whether you’re a closet One Direction fan that’s planning on making it to the event with as few people as possible finding out or you’re ready to shout it from the rooftops/Facebook, the show is guaranteed to be full of energy. What more would you expect from a band that insists that they want to live while they’re young?
From your television to the stage
You’ve voted for them on television, now it’s time to see them on the stage. The X-Factor tour is kicking off on 26 January in the city that hosted the live finals, Manchester, before heading to cities including Aberdeen, Sheffield, and Newcastle.
The top seven acts are performing at the arena tour so there’ll be plenty of variety. Love him or hate him there’s no doubt you won’t be able to help talking about Rylan’s performance – who knows what he’ll have in store for fans across the country?
If you prefer your singers with a bit more vocal talent there’s plenty to look forward to: Jahmene Douglas and Ella Henderson both regularly wowed the judges and crowd with their amazing voices, and Christopher Maloney will also be ready to belt out a classic ballad.
Meanwhile Union J and District 3 will be hoping to prove to the public with they’re perfect harmonies that they’re the next big boyband to emerge from X Factor after JSL and One Direction.
And of course, the X Factor 2012 winner James Arthur will be present and ready to sing his number one single ‘Impossible’. James will be perfectly aware that winning X Factor isn’t a guarantee of lasting success, especially considering how runners up such as Olly Murs have regularly fared better than the winners, but the fact that sales of his single make him the most successful winner since Alexandra Burke should encourage him.
The judges all believe he has star potential, so why not see for yourself whether he makes the cut, or try figuring out which of the runners up has the talent to make it in the long run?
