Q: Why did you want to take part in Splash!
A: It's something different that I've never tried before. I flip nearly every single day so I can incorporate that into my diving. It's something new but something I might be quite good at.
Q: Do you think being flexible will help?
A: Yes because I can flip, and the moment I started training I was trying flips into the pool so I definitely think it's going to help.
Q: So you've tried the flips already off the diving board?
A: Yes, I've done a couple. It was a bit scary and I did a couple of belly flops and back flops and it hurts, but it's going really well.
Q: How is training going and is it harder than you expected?
A: It’s definitely ten times harder than I expected. I thought I might have a bit of a head start with the flips but there is so much technique involved. It's very difficult but I'm having so much fun.
Q: What has it been like working with Tom Daley?
A: It’s really cool. Tom is a really good coach, he showed us one of his dives before we all started and getting anywhere halfway between what I can do and what he can do would be absolutely incredible.
Q: Are you scared of heights?
A: No-one really knows until you get on one of those diving boards how high it actually is. You look at it on television and it looks high but you don't really realise how high. The moment you get up there you just go weak in the knees, it's very scary.
Q: Have you jumped off the high board yet?
A: Yes, I jumped off the 10 metre board which was scary but it was a lot of fun. I had to pluck up the courage for ages but I eventually did it.
Q: How are you in the water in general. Does it scare you?
A: The pool is so deep. I wasn't expecting it to be so deep. You dive in and it takes you ages just to get to the top of the water.
Q: Will you have any celebrity friends cheering you on at the side of the pool?
A: All of the Diversity boys will be down there on the day to give me support.
Q: How are you getting on with the other celebrities in your heat?
A: We are getting on really well, we always help each other through what we are trying to do and help eachother to learn new skills. Everybody is really improving.
Q: Anybody in your heat who is looking good?
A: Definitely Michaela (Strachan), she just picks things up really quickly and her technique is really good.
