Eagle Gallery, Bedford

Sunday, March 3 at £7.30

IN this evening of poetry and prose, members of the Swan Theatre Company will be presenting pieces inspired by the iconic and surreal Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.

As we move into the new month of March, it’s always a time associated with madness, with thanks to the March Hare, attendee of said party in Lewis Carroll’s classic tale of Alice in Wonderland.

We all know and love the familiar story of Alice and her magical adventures in another realm, but have you ever stepped into it?

You’ll no doubt be immersed into a night of emotive, inspirational and interesting poetry, with a few surprises along the way.

The Swan Theatre Company was founded back in the 1940s in Bedford, where a wide variety of productions were put on.

Over 70 years on, they are still creating memorable and breathtaking shows and events, which undoubtedly includes their Mad Hatter party.

This event requires no prior booking, and you can get your tickets on the door, priced at £5 per person.

Poetry nights at the Eagle Gallery have proved popular in the past, so don’t miss out.
