News of another Ball family member, currently in Sydney.
At 1am the loudspeaker system in his hotel wakes everyone. “This is the New South Wales Fire Brigade, parts of the hotel are flooded, there’s not much we can do at the moment, so we are going to our next call. We advise that you do not switch on anything electrical (pause) – good luck.”
The news is he survived.
