MK Dons footballer Jabo Ibehre (pictured right) is appearing at Bedford magistrates’ court on charges of motoring offences.
As he leaves he is confronted by a photographer and demands to know why his picture is being taken.
“You are a famous footballer,” says the snapper. “Well, sort of.” Okay. He lied.

A DELIVERY vehicle is parked in Howard Street, Bedford, and the driver is asking a passer-by directions to nearby Duke Street.
The pedestrian gets out his phone to check on a map (how times have changed) as the driver adds he is looking for the Alzheimer’s Society.
He admits he has been there before but had forgotten exactly where it was.
It’s true, honest.
IT is the Harpur Centre, Bedford, retail awards night at the town’s Swan Hotel, and a great, warming occasion it proves to be.
Mrs Ball is overwhelmed by the number of familiar faces among the 150 staff who have gathered for their big night until it is pointed out she spends so much time shopping in the centre, she should actually be on first name terms and know where they all live.
